Malpensa: Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

Malpensa has two terminals several kilometres apart. Going to the wrong one early in the morning is a classic mistake: here's how to avoid it.

Updated on 11/10/2026

Who flies from where

  • Terminal 1: national airlines, long-haul flights and many low-cost carriers (including Ryanair, Wizz Air and Vueling).
  • Terminal 2: easyJet.
  • Your terminal is shown on your boarding pass and in the airline's app: check it the evening before, as it can change.

How they are connected

A free shuttle train and a bus link T1 and T2 in a few minutes. The Malpensa Express stops at both. By car or private shuttle the trip between the two terminals takes about 10 minutes.

From Casorate Sempione

Both terminals are about 10 minutes by car from Fly & Rest. When you book the shuttle, tell us your terminal and, better still, your flight number, so the driver drops you at the right door.

Wrong terminal: what to do

Take the free bus or shuttle train between the two terminals: it takes about 15 minutes door to door. That's why, with checked luggage, we recommend arriving 2 hours 30 minutes before.
